PGP FAQs
I DON’T KNOW IF MY CHILD WILL ATTEND
Historically, 98% of the Class attends PGP. 97% of those that attend, stay until the end. They may not know it now, but they will want to go! Everyone has a place at PGP. The nostalgia, excitement and small class size encourages students who may have drifted apart to reconnect, just as they are about to move on.
HOW DO WE GET THEM TO STAY ALL NIGHT?
The party is a great time on its own, but we insure they remain on-site by offering raffle items whose value increases as the night goes on. The lure and excitement of winning one of these great raffle items has kept Wilton’s kids safe at the PGP party for the entire night.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
A contribution (TBD) for every senior is requested for this six and a half hour party. This includes food and beverages all night long and music, games and live entertainment. We are able to keep this cost down due to the success of earlier fundraising activities. There are no other entry fees or tickets.
WHERE DOES OUR CONTRIBUTION GO?
Our contributions fund the party! What you may not know is how many of our budget items are fixed costs from year to year. Over 50% of our budget goes towards Gifts/raffle and entertainment, these are the very things that keep the students engaged.
ALL NIGHT? HOW CAN I HELP?
There will be many opportunities to help starting now and through PGP. We will keep everyone updated on all fundraising events and volunteer opportunities.
If you can help with anything, or have a question, drop us a note, we’d love to hear from you. Parent involvement is essential to a successful PGP.
